Welcome to Cashping. By accessing or using our service at cashping.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Cashping, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Cashping is a personal finance awareness tool that connects to your bank accounts through Plaid (read-only access) and delivers a daily SMS summary of your spending activity. The service is designed for personal use only.

Cashping is a spending awareness tool only. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or credit services. Nothing in the service should be construed as financial advice.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@cashpings.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Bank Connection and Financial Data

Cashping connects to your bank accounts using Plaid Inc., a third-party financial data provider. By connecting your bank account, you also agree to Plaid's Terms of Service.

Our access is strictly read-only. We can view your transaction history and balances, but we cannot move money, initiate transactions, or modify your bank accounts in any way.

5. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated daily SMS messages from Cashping. You understand that:

• Message frequency is approximately once per day.
• Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
• For help, reply HELP to any message.
• Cashping is not liable for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by your carrier.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the service.
• Use the service to harm, harass, or defraud others.
• Share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software comprising the Cashping service is owned by Cashping and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cashping is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that spending data will be 100% accurate. Bank transaction data is provided by Plaid and your financial institution — we are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in that data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cashping and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on information provided by the service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity harmful to the service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
